MEET ALAN

Alan Barker is the owner and lead photographer behind Inner Essence Boudoir, specializing in on-location boudoir and fine art nude photography for women and couples 40+. He photographs clients throughout Rockhampton, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast, Queensland, traveling to private homes, Airbnbs, and hotels to create a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience.

An award-winning photographer and Certified Elite Boudoir Photographer, Alan spent decades photographing landscapes before bringing that artistic perspective into boudoir. His landscape background strongly influences his approach to Bodyscape photography, using light, shadow, curves, and form to create his signature moody, black-and-white imagery.

Alan also brings more than 30 years of experience in education, including 10 years as a school principal. His experience guiding people, combined with his specialized boudoir training, helps clients feel respected, comfortable, and confidently guided throughout their entire experience.
